Support Needed for Ukrainians – Join Our Efforts Today

War in Ukraine is not over yet: Find out how you could help

As the situation in Ukraine remains unsafe, families continue to seek refuge. We urgently need more hosts in the UK to offer a safe haven to those fleeing danger.

Communities for Ukraine by USPUK - is a matching project supporting potential hosts and guests to get matched and support safe resettlement for Ukrainians to the UK under Homes for Ukraine visa scheme.

USPUK continuously supports Ukrainians in need, and explores new ways of finding more hosts as the situation in Ukraine doesn't improve. We provide step-by-step support for anyone who is interested in hosting Ukrainians and can make sure you get the most suitable guest arrangement possible.

Already hosting with USPUK?

We’d love to hear about your experience!

Your feedback helps us improve support for both hosts and guests. And if you're open to hosting again once your current guests move on, let us know—we’re always looking for safe and welcoming homes.

Every month we receive more than 100 requests from families living in the most dangerous parts of Ukraine, from Sumy to Kherson. One of such requests came from

Yuliia (48) and her two children (son, 13 and daughter, 10) from Kyiv.

They have remained in Ukraine since the start of the war, but the situation has worsened with daily air raids and nearby explosions. Recently, a missile with cluster munitions was shot down above their village. Despite this, Yuliia continued teaching biology at a local school while her children studied and took English lessons.

Yuliia has always admired the UK and dreams of finding safety there. She and her children are quiet, respectful, and have no health issues or pets (though they love animals). Yuliia is eager to work, and her children are motivated to continue their education. They are looking for a kind host to help them take this important step to safety.

Please register at https://www.uspuk.org/become-a-host to help Yuliia and find out about other refugees in need of help - we are happy to offer suitable match to anyone interested.

Want to help but can’t host?

You can still support a family in need of safety by becoming a named sponsor—with no accommodation required. This helps families reunite and access protection in the UK.

To learn more or to be matched with a suitable case, please book a call with our Sponsor Coordinator by emailing: sponsors@uspuk.org

Help Us Bring 50 more Families with Children to Safety

Our dedicated caseworker Nadiia is walking 200 miles this summer to raise funds for 50 more families fleeing war—so they can find safety and rebuild their lives in the UK. Please donate if you can to support their journeys.

Every step makes a difference. Thank you for standing with displaced families.
