Afghan Community Newsletter - May 2026

Dear Afghan Community and Friends,

As we move into May, we continue to build on the momentum of recent months, bringing meaningful opportunities and practical support to our community.

We are pleased to share that we have successfully completed two rounds of our financial workshops on Thursday 23rd April at our office in King’s Cross, covering the UK financial system and banking, as well as budgeting and saving. The sessions were well attended, with participants finding them useful and engaging, and there was a great deal of discussion and shared experiences throughout.

Safe Money workshop | London

We now have the final round of the workshop scheduled for Thursday 14th May, 11:00am to 1:00pm. This session will focus on Safe Money, including how to identify scams and fraud, and what support is available if you have been affected. If you or anyone in your network may benefit from this session, please do share this opportunity with them.If you have not yet signed up, please register. Lunch and London travel costs will be covered.
