How family reunited after months of waiting
Thank you, USPUK, for your care, expertise, and humanity! You don’t just help with documents — you help reunite and rebuild families.
Now, at last, our whole family is safe, under one roof, in a new country, with a new life and future ahead of us.
From Nataliya’s own words:
“In April 2025, we reached out to USPUK for help. My name is Nataliya, I am originally from Melitopol, and I now live in the United Kingdom. Back in August 2024, I submitted visa applications for my two children and my parents, but for eight months there was no decision at all. Later, it turned out that our sponsor, a British citizen, was fake — and all the applications had simply been “left hanging” without being considered.
The USPUK team stepped in immediately. Thanks to their attentiveness, we learned that since 31 January 2025, parents already in the UK can act as sponsors for their own children. The team advised me to submit separate applications for my children and for my parents. I reapplied for my children’s visas, this time as their sponsor, and at the same time submitted an application to extend my own UPE visa.
USPUK stayed in constant contact with the MHCLG, who in turn communicated with the UKVI and our local council. The council promptly carried out a housing inspection, and within just three weeks, my children’s visas were approved.
The next step was to apply for visas for my parents. For this, we needed a genuine sponsor with a British passport or ILR status. I approached our landlord — and he agreed to help. A repeat housing inspection was not required, and my parents’ visas were also approved in just three weeks.
Throughout this entire difficult process, USPUK was with us every step of the way — advising, supporting, and taking action.
Now, at last, our whole family is safe, under one roof, in a new country, with a new life and future ahead of us.
