Refugee Week Campaign: Nadiia Walks and Raises Money to Help Children Reach Safety

A month before Refugee Week, we’re thrilled to announce a fundraising campaign launched by Nadiia, our caseworker at USPUK. Through her work with communities, she has supported hundreds of displaced Ukrainians to find safety and rebuild their lives. Not long ago, she made that difficult journey herself, leaving Ukraine with her children after yet another rocket attack, determined to get them to safety.

But there are still so many more children in danger, waiting to escape. That’s why Nadiia aims to walk at least 150 miles over next month to raise £5,000 and support further 50 children to escape the danger as every child deserves to be safe. The funds will go towards essential advice, support, and travel arrangements.

Every step Nadiia takes in her charity walk and every pound you can give throughout our campaign, helps move a child out of harm’s way. Please help us to support displaced children via making any donation, if you can.
