We’re proud to share the first ever edition of our Afghan community newsletter. This is something we’ve been wanting to do for a long time – a space just for you, shaped by the questions, concerns, and experiences many of you have shared with us.

We’ve been working quietly in the background to strengthen the support available to our community. Below are a few updates and resources we thought would be helpful to share.

We’ve created a simple and clear guide to help you with extending or renewing your Afghan passport in the UK.

Over 200 community members are already part of our dedicated WhatsApp group, where we regularly share updates, opportunities, and useful information.

Information Packs – Available in Three Languages

Our team has prepared a range of information packs covering key topics such as housing, benefits, work, health and more – all written in clear language and available in Pashto, Dari, and English.

Support with Renting – Webinar recording

Join USPUK and Beam for a short webinar on how refugees and displaced people can access support for private renting, including help with housing deposits. Open to those with refugee status or leave to remain.
