Credit and Borrowing Workshop

Empowering the Afghan Community through Financial Education

Last week, USPUK, in partnership with The Money Charity, hosted a free Credit & Borrowing Workshop for the Afghan community. Around 15 participants joined us to learn about credit sources, informal lending, credit scores, debt management, and practical financial tips for everyday life.

Following the session, our USPUK Afghan team provided one-to-one consultations to answer personal questions and offer tailored support. These sessions proved extremely beneficial, helping participants feel more confident about managing their finances and understanding the UK system.

We are grateful for the community’s active participation and feedback — and proud to see how educational initiatives like these empower Afghan families to build financial stability and independence in the UK.
