The IAA Level 1 Immigration training for USPUK team
At USPUK, we believe that access to accurate and reliable advice can be instrumental to the resettlement journey of refugees and displaced people. Free access to this support should be a fundamental right.
A huge thank you to Refugee Action for organising the IAA Level 1 Immigration training, which our senior team members Tetiana Naimanova and Anil Qasemi have completed last week.
The training has helped the USPUK team expand immigration knowledge and ensure it remains accurate and up to date. We already help people access reliable information about the Afghan and Ukrainian visa and resettlement schemes, but we have wanted to expand and formalise this support for a long time.
Our next step is to prepare for the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) assessment and registration so that USPUK can continue developing its services and supporting displaced Ukrainian and Afghan communities with safe, reliable immigration advice.
