Afghan Community Newsletter - Refugee Week

Dear Afghan Community and Friends,

As we mark Refugee Week, we recognise the strength and resilience of those who have been forced to flee war and conflict and rebuild their lives in safety. We are proud of the many members of our community who continue to make a positive contribution across the UK.

To mark Refugee Week, we would like to share a number of opportunities and resources that may be of interest to you or someone you know.

Job Board

As promised, we are introducing a small job board as part of this newsletter. Please find a few opportunities below if you are interested in applying:

Please note: the roles shared above are publicly available opportunities for general information. They are not affiliated with USPUK, and we are unable to provide referrals or influence the recruitment process.

Flexible Work and Freelancing Platforms

If you are looking for flexible work, additional income, or an opportunity to use your skills while preparing for employment or further studies, you may wish to explore freelancing platforms such as Fiverr, PeoplePerHour and Upwork. These platforms include opportunities in areas such as translation, administration, graphic design, writing, tutoring, marketing, IT, social media, and many other services. Before starting, it may be useful to prepare a short profile, examples of your work, and a clear list of services you can offer.
